 Project title:Chinese Festivals: A New Interpretation of Form into Digital Media

Abstract

The research analyze and explores the key elements and characters of the Chinese Festivals; Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Mid-Autum Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Magpie Festival by reviewing and examining the history, customs and cultures of these Chinese Festivals. The research proposes that the key elements and characteristics of the festivals are to be interpreted into new form of digital media; function as mechanism in propagating and promoting the customs to the target audience, teenagers aged from 18 to 22 years old.
